I made this prototype bag tag using the new Tote-ally Tess set in the Occasions Mini. We always have bags & totes full of our stamping and scrapbooking gear that we tote around for stamp camps, shoe box swaps, and a million other things. I thought Tote-ally Tess was the perfect stamp set for this. I only wish I was as skinny as she is!
I used a combination of paper piecing and watercoloring using my Watercolor Wonder Crayons with a Blender Pen (my favorite way to watercolor!) Since this is laminated I could not add bling, but a few ribbons never hurt anything! I used the Jumble Alphabet and DSP from the Welcome Neighbor SAB paper pack for the name side of the tag.
I like this so much I plan to make some for my re-usable grocery bags!

One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demo is all the neat people I meet and get to turn into friends. One of these is Maria Pane. She's what we call a "sideline" we both roll up into Janet Wakeland's group of demos call the RemARKable Stampers. Such a talented group of people it is my pleasure to be associated with! Maria and I were roommates at convention last year. She was wonderful, put up with my snoring and still finishing swaps in the room at midnight! One night she fell asleep with her glasses on while I was working on swaps! She's an amazing person and a wonderful stamper! Here are a couple of her designs that she made recently.

I loved these two stamps, Chocolate Bunny & Like-O-Meter, immediately. I added "More than chocolate", which is my highest level of "like-ability", and created this card for the swap at our last group meeting. I also used the I {Love} Love wheel on the background, but it's hard to see.
I embossed the bunny with clear embossing powder on Chocolate Chip card stock. It looks almost edible!
Once I had all the bunnies embossed, cut out and ribbon collars tied, they looked so cute all grouped together. I almost didn't want to make them into the cards! I also tried a new ribbon treatment, by layering our luscious new satin ribbon under the punched out hearts. I thought it looked pretty cool!
Either or both of these stamps would make cute & quick Valentine's cards!

The new Fox & Friends set from the Occasions Mini is too cute for words! And the new a la carte smaller background stamps are so versatile for quick single layer cards. The Solid Stripes stamp makes a nice striped background that is 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" tall. Perfect for layering! Here I added the little monkey punched out using the Curly Label punch. I added the word "baby" using Tiny Tags punched out with the new Medium Jewelry Tag punch. I hung this from the monkey's tale with linen thread. A simple, cute card that could easily be produced in bulk for a baby announcement, baby shower invite or even a baby thank you card.

I had so much fun going through my pictures making our 2010 calendar in My Digital Studio. It was so easy and so much fun! Here is the January page from January 2007 when Tai Shan was still a baby panda. He was so cute! MDS is so easy to use that this page only took minutes to create! It has certainly reinvigorated my scrapbooking!
I'd be very happy to demo this great software to you!

My Stampin' Up! mentor, Jan Wakeland, gave us a stop hoarding challenge. She challenged us to use all the wonderful embellishments and ribbons, etc. we have instead of "saving them for later". She also recently posted a great framed sampler of the paper and embellishments coming in the new Occasions mini. So I combined the idea with the challenge and came up with this. Not a card I would mass produce, but a fun change! LOL! I used half a sheet of dimensionals! Full details below.

Okay, so I got a little punchy... LOL! The new Sending Love Specialty DSP is so cool! It shimmers and sparkles, which the picture does not show. :-( I punched a whole bunch of little hearts using the new Small heart punch, and arranged them in a bigger heart. Love the new punches - so compact but easy to use! Added some of the luscious new Satin Ribbon, a Pinking Hearts punch border and a Fire Rhinestone to finish it off. I think this might be a good valentine card for my DH of 29+ years! Full details below.

I LOVE the new Occasions mini! The clear mount stamps are a dream answer to a craft room that is crowded with stamp sets! The new punches are also space savers. The new butterfly Embosslits die is to die for! It cuts and embosses 4 butterflies from tiny to medium in one pass! I created this friendship hug note using the new I {Heart} Hearts from the Occasions mini and the Whimsical Words Sale-A-Bration set.
The stand is created by cutting 3 of the Decorative Accents pieces, folding each in half and gluing the halves together. It makes a cute little stand that holds our new Hugs notes perfectly! Here is another view of the stand. I left it plain so that it won't compete with what it is holding. P.S. Since it's a Bigz die, you can cut all 3 pieces at once! Details below.
