My project for today is a banner I made out of our new On Board Scallop Circle book, Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper, Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon and the adorable Eggcellent Eggs Kit all from the Occasions Mini.
Here are close-ups of each letter, click on each picture to see the flowers and rhinestone embellishments from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit. And I still have lots leftover from the kit to actually do my Easter Eggs!
So you are probably wondering, what's green about this? Well, the banner is reversible! The ribbon has eyelets to hold the rhinestone brads that attach each piece. So when Easter is over, you can turn each piece around to spell out "create". Perfect for a craft room! Here are the flip sides.
Each letter is covered in the celery glitter from our Fine Cosmo Stampin' Glitter. I thought about adding other embellishments, but I liked it this way and did not want to "guild the lily". The On Board book bases are painted with our craft ink refills, used just like paint. I also used my Big Shot to cut the designer paper scalloped circles, and the pink circles under each letter. Oh how I love my Big Shot!
